Armani Privé collection lights up Paris runway

Georgio Armani unveils stunning new looks in Paris.

It may be summer, but that hasn’t stopped famous designers from planning ahead. During Paris Fashion Week, Giorgio Armani showcased his fall Armani Privé 2012 couture collection. Glamorous models rocked the runway in everything from tuxedo pants to floor-length gowns surrounded by images of nightfall and starry skies, according to Vogue Magazine.

Armani used the talents he is known for in his menswear and incorporated similar features into his Privé collection. Gorgeous, sky-high models came down the runway wearing loose-fitting trousers that were anything but manish. The pants were paired with feminine, pointy flats.

The cut of the pants was reminiscent of the style Armani became famous for in the 1980s. His Privé collection also served as a reminder that his ability to create clothes goes far beyond menswear.

At the end of the Paris show, Armani showcased fabulously elegant dresses in midnight-blue sequin and black velvet. The look was completed as the women sported sheer, crystal-studded face coverings, which added a special touch to overall tasteful and even magical feeling of the show.

There’s no doubt that Armani is one of the fashion world’s most gifted designers. But, unfortunately, everything he sells is extremely expensive. However, there’s good news.
