“The Hunger Games” starlet named new face of Miss Dior handbag

October 10, 2012

Over the past few months, actress Jennifer Lawrence has been making a name for herself. She shot to the top of the list of Hollywood's most sought-after actresses after she was the lead actress in the hit movie, "The Hunger Games."

When she's not on the red carpet at movie premieres or award shows, gracing the covers of British Vogue and W Magazine, the brown-eyed beauty can be seen at fashion shows around the world.

Now, Lawrence has got something new to add to her impressive and fast-growing resume: She was recently named the latest muse for world-renowned brand Christian Dior. The 22-year-old actress will be the new face for the label's Miss Dior handbag collection. She'll be following in the footsteps of other Hollywood starlets Mila Kunis and Marion Cotillard.

But, instead of acting pretentious or arrogant after she was bestowed with such a high honor, Lawrence simply told WWD that ''It’s such a dream to represent an iconic brand that is synonymous with high fashion."

If you're wondering what the Miss Dior handbag is, it's a purse with a beautiful chain handle and rectangular shape. However, don't expect to see Lawrence walking around with prissy, frilly and overly girly clothes and accessories anytime soon.

According to WWD, she said that she hates "being overdressed so I normally find a way to 'casualize' anything too showy."

But if you're more of a fashionista than Lawrence reports she is, then make sure you have all the proper accessories to go along with your Miss Dior handbag. The Mad Dior Black Strappy Shoes sold by Dellamoda.com will take your entire outfit from drab to fab in an instant.
