The world has fallen in love with the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton. Whether she is attending a charity ball with Prince William or simply walking around London, she has proved to look gorgeous wherever she goes and has been praised for her approachability and down-to-earth nature. Although all news about her is considered important, perhaps the revelation that has drawn the most attention is that Middleton and her husband are expecting.

Everything that she has worn during her pregnancy, including her designer shoes and designer accessories, has drawn praises from people around the world.

"She's flattering her bump in the right way, and keeping her style consistent prior to her pregnancy," said stylist and blogger Nikki Pennie to E! News. "She knows what suits her. It's not as if she's bought a whole new maternity wardrobe – she's recycling a lot of items and giving inspiration to many young moms everywhere."

Although she is just starting to show, style experts like Pennie don't think that even after her belly grows, she'll stray much from the fashion choices that she made before she found out she was expecting.

"She'll wear more 'Kate' coats, more babydoll dresses, the same sort of shapes that are perfect on her, and she'll continue to mix designer and high street pieces so it's accessible," revealed Pennie, who has styled the famous mom-to-be.

Middleton has been seen shopping at various retailers like TopShop, L.K. Bennett, MaxMara, Gap and Peter Jones. Her due date is in July.

When most people think of foreign fashion power-houses, cities like Milan, London and Tokyo may come to mind – not necessarily Moscow. However, that is all changing as Russia's capital is in the middle of its annual fashion week.

The event started in 2000 and was originally dubbed Russian Fashion until it teamed up with Mercedes-Benz in 2012. It's now called Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (MBFW) Russia. Thirteen years ago, this seven-day affair featured just 20 designers, but since then, has made leaps in the industry. Today, 150 individuals showcase their collections.

''We've been picking up designers from other cities, searching for talent in our schools and universities," said Alexander Shumsky, president of MBFW Russia, according to Elle Magazine's U.K. edition. ''We want to make Moscow a hub for Russian speaking designers.''

The event began on Saturday, March 30, and has already spotlighted a cornucopia of designers that have turned heads. Georgia's Ria Keburia made a bold statement by putting her models in accordion-inspired pleats and accessorized the women in golden helmets.They strutted their stuff on the catwalk to church music. The last two females covered their chests and walked in nothing but long black skirts.

Svetlana Tegin also turned heads. She presented an assortment of knitted shawls, part of her "Paris" collection, in which every model wore a black bob wig that was reminiscent of Louise Brooks. They also sported over-the-knee socks paired with loafers.

Because Russian fashion has yet to expand like other markets, designers have undeniably come across challenges – mainly that of expanding their talent. As a result, many upcoming designers are forced to study abroad. However, the combination of talent and determination is sure to help this industry within the Siberian country to take off very soon.

Most teenagers hate hearing that they are going to need braces. Among other concerns, they worry that putting them on will hurt and they'll be teased by their peers. Although it seems more uncommon these days than not to see an adolescent without a mouth full of metal, this type of orthodontic treatment isn't usually that popular with teens – that is, unless you live in certain parts of Asia.

That's right. In various regions of countries like Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia, some adolescent male and females are paying more than $100 to have what has become known as black market braces. These phony brackets certainly don't straighten teeth because they are more designed to make a bold fashion statement than anything else.

Orthodontic treatment can cost upwards of $1,000 and so braces are unaffordable for many families in Asia. As such, a mouth filled with metal brackets has become a status symbol. Unfortunately, however, black market braces can cause some health problems. Because they aren't put on by a dental professional, pieces may come loose, crack teeth and inflame gums and sometimes even result in oral sores. Doesn't sound too fashionable, does it?

Federal governments such as the one in Thailand recognize the risk of fake braces and have instituted a punishment of six months in prison and a fine of more than $1,500 to anyone who sells or applies black market braces.

Although Asia certainly has made a name for itself as an emerging and modern fashion market, this is one trend that our fashion experts at online designer retailer Dellamoda.com say should have been left behind once the new year started.
