Actress Viola Davis presented the Brand Heritage Award to label Max Mara, which was accepted by Nicola Maramotti, who now runs to company.

Fashionistas will tell you that in addition to having the latest designer accessories and designer shoes, part of being in the fashion-know is keeping abreast on all the latest parties taking place.

1) Superstar Award at the FGI’s 29th Annual Night of Stars
Creative director for Chanel Karl Lagerfeld and designer Carolina Herrera accepted their awards at this event which was hosted by Fashion Group international at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

“I’m so flattered and so deeply touched,” Herrera told with regard to being one of the guests of honor.

2) Brand Heritage Awards
Actress Viola Davis presented this award to label Max Mara which was accepted by Nicola Maramotti, who now runs to company.

“I’m extremely proud to be here representing my family,” Maramotti said according to “We’ve been around 60 years and we’re still here. I hope the next 60 years are going to be as good for Max Mara.”

3) Council of Fashion Designers of America’s dinner
Gwen Stefani and Katy Perry were among the famous women at this dinner, held at Chateau Marmont Los Angeles. The purpose of the glamorous affair was to pay tribute to 2012’s Fashion Fund Finalists and one award recipient was New York designer Wes Gordon.
